DIRECT MEATS AND ROYAL ESTATE VENISON THE EPITOME OF BRITISH EXCELLENCE

Direct Meats in association with Scotch Premier meats is proud
to announce its inclusion of Balmoral & Royal Deeside estate
venison as part of the “British Excellence” Range of products.

The Balmoral Estate in Royal Deeside, Scottish home of the Royal
family since 1855 and the surrounding estates on Royal Deeside
have been carefully developed and managed over the years to
provide habitats which support a diverse range of flora and
wildlife.

To conserve the delicate natural ecology of the estates, the
population of wild red deer is carefully managed in accordance
with the Deer (Scotland) Act 1996. Venison - culled during
the stalking season as part of the species conservation, control
and management - is taken from the hills and hung in Game
Larders on each estate before collected for processing.

The venison is then further carcase matured before being
processed into traditional cuts by our expert team of butchers
at Direct Meats plant here in Essex prior to delivery to Hotels and
restaurants throughout London and the South East.

Balmoral and Royal Deeside Wild Scottish Venison retains the
distinctive flavour you would expect from animals which have
foraged in the natural environment of the rugged Cairngorm
uplands and is a naturally lean meat, low in fat, low in cholesterol
and an important source of iron, protein and vitamins.

Please ask about our extended range of Royal estate venison
products including our own home made Balmoral venison patties
and Sausages.
