I have been going to The Ivy (The Ivy, Jumeirah Hotel, Dubai) every weekend for months for the iconic Dingley Dell Breakfast. It’s what a real breakfast should be the Beer and Treacle Bacon is absolutely fantastic.

I have been using the Dedham vale beef from direct meats for almost a year and I have never been disappointed. Being a new business we have found people regularly returning just to have the beef, especially the fillet. I have worked all over the world and the quality of the Dedham vale rib eye and fillet are among the best I have used. The flavour of the beef is so good our customers regularly comment about it being the best they have ever tasted.

I have been using Direct Meat solely for 14 months now and can honestly say that their produce is unrivalled in my experience! I use only the finest products on their price list from their home smoked dingley dell pork rumps to hand made sausages. Provenance is very important to me here and the stand out quality at direct meats has to be their relationship with Dedham Vale beef! It is always beautifully aged and marbled regardless of which cut I require. The meat is always treated and wrapped in muslin cloth to allow it to breath and it is a pleasure to do business with a company that takes these things into account. They have even started up a range of wagyu beef for their more discerning clientele which, of course, is known to be the finest choice throughout the hospitality industry! I will be using Direct Meat for all my Beef for year to come!

Adam at the College Arms was sent some of our cold smoked pork rump steaks for his specials menu. Upon trying one for himself this morning he told us it was "absolutely gorgeous" and he said to say well done for producing such a nice product!

Greenberry cafe have recently ordered our newly developed cold smoked rump steaks, their feedback so far is they have told us they are really happy with them & that the rumps went down really well with the customers.

Based in leafy south London, gastro pub The Palmerston has been supplied meat by us since mid 2012. It boasts a modern British menu featuring fresh seasonal dishes served in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Salt beef has been a recent promotional item of ours and James at The Palmerston loves our salt brisket! Perfect for his lunch menu and will be ordering more.

We have visited the abattoir with them and then had a comprehensive tour of their facilities at direct meats. These have included a breakdown of how the different products are prepared & packaged to ensure exemplary due diligence, Demonstrations of butchery techniques, the students have then been invited to have a go themselves. The visits have included tips & visual guidance on what to look for when purchasing quality meat.
