Our fantastic teams of people at Direct meats undertake a number of select roles to keep us moving and progressing.
Our packing operatives work closely with our butchers – hand packing each item to each users’ specifications to the tee!
Our master butchers hand butcher each cut in our product range. We are very proud that some of our master butchers have worked their way up from apprentices with us.
The pickers have excellent product knowledge – scanning, picking, and boxing every order that leaves the door. Nothing goes out without their approval.
The curing room handle the curing of all the bacon, hams gammons etc. Ensuring these products are perfectly cured, cooked, sliced, and packed ready for the plate.
Our resident Chef Tom has hand created our Dingley Dell Cured charcuterie range which is cured in our purpose-built charcuterie chambers – the wow factor when a lot of visitors take a walk round.
Our cleaners must work to the highest standard ensuring each of our departments and all equipment is squeaky clean for the next day’s production.
The accounts team keep our business afloat and our families fed.
The friendly sales team can assist you to place an order, track your order or with any queries you may have… (they’re very helpful). They have our bespoke orders system at their fingertips.
The dedicated driver’s deliver each order by hand in a timely and polite manner – and do so with a smile on their face!
