A Little History.
In May 1995 Direct Meats Ltd was formed when a farmer with a passion for meat, Martin Blackwell and a butcher John Kent, joined forces to provide a bespoke service that no-one had done before; that of a ‘Larder chef’ supplier and to serve some of the south east’s finest restaurants, hotels and eateries.
From the very start their aim was to meet the demanding needs of a progressive catering profession, offering an extensive eminent quality product range, together with a high standard of service. They brought with them not only provenance before it became fashionable, but also expertise in selecting the finest quality meat and butchery skills in order to offer an outstanding service to their growing clientele.
